10/02/18: Bruce Springsteen mugs (North London Hospice)

North London Hospice, Whetstone. It's not often that you see a Bruce Springsteen mug in a charity shop, but today I saw two. I was slightly tempted to buy them, but only slightly.

25/11/17: One Direction mugs (North London Hospice)

North London Hospice, Whetstone. Five 1D mugs in two different designs. While in the shop I was happy to hear "Hole in My Shoe" by Traffic and "Squeeze Box" by The Who on the radio.

01/07/17: Mugs (North London Hospice)

North London Hospice, Whetstone. Bought a profoundly unattractive One Direction mug, showing the idiotic singing clowns with ludicrously long hair.

10/04/16: Dark Side of the Moon mug (North London Hospice)

North London Hospice, Whetstone. Dark Side of the Moon mug, 75p. Can't really go wrong. As one Amazon reviewer puts it, 'tea and coffee actually taste better out of this mug!"

30/12/14: Las Vegas mugs (JAMI)

JAMI, Golders Green, next door to Sue Ryder. The mugs in JAMI were not priced. I asked the man at the till how much they cost. After some distraction, delay and dithering, a second member of staff advised that they would be 50p each. How could I resist? I like these Las Vegas designs because their excitingly bright, gaudy colours accurately evoke the flavour of that Nevada city. Plus, I needed mugs.
